Isle Madame Confections is almost always seeking qualified
and enthusiastic candy makers and chocolate artisans or
trained chocolatiers for either our chocolate production
facility in Port Hawkesbury or our shop in Port Hastings,
Nova Scotia.
Candy
Kitchen Cook/Demonstrator
Currently, we are looking for a trained candy kitchen
cook/demonstrator to work in The Candy Shop kitchen. This
person would know how to cook scratch caramels and toffees,
pull taffy, make candied nuts and brittles, and Louisiana
/Southern specialties, such as claws, turtles, pecan
pralines and divinities. You must also be able and willing
to train others to do the same, and be at ease doing any of
the above confections in front of a public audience as
well.
